Tami L. Kottmyer, age 60, of York, peacefully passed away Friday evening at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born on August 7, 1964, in York, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Morgan and Dawn (Landis) Glessner of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She dedicated a significant part of her life to her career at Toys R Us, starting with the store’s opening and continuing as a valued employee. Additionally, she worked for several years at the Blind Center and Whitecomb’s Produce, where she found great joy working in the bakery, a role she truly loved. A passionate Disney enthusiast, she visited the park 22 times, creating lasting memories and enjoying each magical experience.

In addition to her parents, Tami is survived by her former husband, John A. Kottmyer, of Seven Valleys; two sisters, Kristi J. George of York, and Lori A. Whitecomb, and her husband Greg, of York; nieces and nephews, Josh, Alex and Ryan George, Kate Caloia, and Tyler Whitecomb; as well as great nieces and nephews.

Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Patient Help Fund, 2500 South George Street, York PA 17403.
