Thomas J. Crum, age 84, of Conewago Township, York, died at 5:39 PM Monday, May 23, 2022 at UPMC Memorial. He was the husband of Carol A. (Toomey) Crum.
Born December 1, 1937, in Carlisle, he was a son of the late John B. Crum and the late Christine (Ewing) Crum Mccall. He was a 1956 graduate of Carlisle High School, and then served in the US Army in Korea for three years. After honorable discharge he enrolled at Williamsport Technical Institute, from where he graduated in 1962. He was retired as assistant shop manager for Consolidated Freightways and, after retirement, worked for PADE as a rollback driver. He was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post 791, and Teamsters Local 776, and attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, York Haven.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Crum is survived by a daughter, Sharon L. Yarde (Les), o f York; a stepdaughter, Kathie A. Blevins (Tom), of Dover; step daughter-in-law, Nikki Lehman, of Port Orange, Florida; three grandchildren, Jay Stough, Rylee Lehman, and Kai Lehman; three great grandchildren, Isabella, Chase and Jayden; two brothers, Bill and James Crum; a sister, Christine Bush; a step sister, Vera Evelhoch; and a stepbrother, Robbie McCall. He was also preceded in death by two stepsons, Ronald McKissick, and Craig Lehman; a brother, John Crum; and a stepsister, Valerie McCall.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastors Gary Zortman and Judy Bupp officiating. Viewing will be 1-2:00 PM. Burial will be private.
