Thomas L. Gross Obituary

Thomas L. Gross, age 78, of Lower Windsor Township, Wrightsville, died at 12:25PM Sunday, December 21, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Joyce E. (Leckrone) Gross.

Born August 4, 1947, in York, he was a son of the late Harry and Roberta (Updegraff) Gross. He was a graduate of York Suburban High School and retired as a carpenter. He spent part of his earlier years living in Telluride, Colorado, which he loved. After moving back to the York area, he spent many of his years living along the Susquehanna River.

In addition to his wife of 38 years, Tom is survived by a daughter, Erin L. Gross and her fiancé, Eric Schumacher, of Chester County; and a brother, Larry Gross of York. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Jim, Charles, Harry, Paul, and Don Gross; and a sister, Debra Sue.

A true adventurer at heart, Tom was never happier than when he was outdoors. Whether he was skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, or biking, he found his greatest peace outdoors, and had a deep respect for nature.

Tom loved spending time with family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
