Virginia L. Robertson, age 92, of York, passed away at 3:15 PM Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Providence Place in Dover. She was the wife of the late James R. Robertson.

Born May 3, 1932, in York, the daughter of the late Harold D. and Helen M. (Spangler) Pressel, she worked for Judge Dorney and was a member of Church of the Open Door. She also enjoyed participating in activities at Providence Place.

Mrs. Robertson is survived by two daughters, Joni J. Sipling, of Etters, and Beth A. Hostetter, and her husband John, of Williow Street; two sons, Rodney J. Robertson, and his husband Richard, of York, and Timothy E. Robertson, and his wife Kim, of York; fourteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a brother, Harold “Bud” Pressel, of York.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Court, York, with Pastor Donald Wagner and The Rev. John Hostetter officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM. Private burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
