Walter F. Hartman

Walter F. Hartman, age 89, of Windsor Township, York, died at 5:57 PM
Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of the
late Joan E. (Ireland) Hartman, who passed away in 2016.

Born July 23, 1931 in New York City, a son to the late Frank and Hilda (Albert)
Hartman, he was retired as a Systems Analyst for the National Counsel on
Compensation Insurance. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Mr. Hartman is survived by four daughters, Maryellen Hartman of Lakewood,
New Jersey, Melissa J. Robertson and her husband William, of York, Ellen
Hartman, of York, and Mariela Grant, of York; five sons, James E. Hartman and
his wife Patricia, of North Carolina, Thomas F. Hartman, of East Windsor, New
Jersey, John C. Hartman and his wife Brandi, of North Carolina, Richard
Hartman, of Georgia, and Steven Hartman, of York; nine grandchildren; two
great grandchildren; and two nieces, Joan Albert and Carol Hartman. He was
also preceded in death by two grandchildren and a brother, Edmond
Hartman.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Grace
Baptist Church, 3920 East Prospect Road, York, with his Pastor, The Rev.
Steve Warner, officiating. Viewing will be 4-6:00 PM Monday at Kuhner
Associates Funeral Directors, Inc, 863 South George Street, York and 9-10:00
AM Tuesday at the Church. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, with
military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
