Wanda L. Mercado

Wanda L. Mercado, age 73, of York, died at 7:30 AM Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of Angel Mercado Rivera.

Born April 15, 1952, in Rocks, Maryland, a daughter of the late Anna Mae (Pritt) Smith, and stepdaughter of the late Wilson Smith, she was retired housekeeping for the Colonial Shopping Center.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mercado is survived by two sons, Angel Mercado, Jr., of Loganville, and David Mercado, and his wife, Katie, of York; and two grandchildren, Samara, and Quay. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Wood.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, March 23, 2026, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York. Viewing will be 1-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery.
