Wayne R. Lake Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne Lake, a devoted father, cherished brother, and loyal friend, who left this world in June 2025 at the age of 64.

Born on March 27, 1961, Wayne was known for his tireless work ethic, his love for family, and his passion for life’s simple pleasures — especially fishing, working on boats and cars, and collecting coins. He was also a dedicated and longtime business owner, respected by many for his honesty, skill, and unwavering determination.

Wayne was the beloved son of the late Esther Lake. He is survived by his father Ronald Lake, loving daughters, Melissa Little (Jim) and Jaimie Lake (Sam), and his six grandchildren who brought him endless joy.

He is also survived by his sisters: Kim Schissler (preceded in death by her husband Ronald), Renee Humphrey (preceded in death by her husband David), Karen Dallmeyer (Glenn), and Monica Rodgers (Shane). His longtime girlfriend, Suzanne Adams-Loss, stood faithfully by his side and brought him love and comfort. He is also reunited in spirit with his best friend, Daniel Rider.

Wayne will be remembered as a loving father, a strong and steady brother, and a man who gave his all in everything he did. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to those he loved lives on in all who knew him.
