Wesley Dawson Beam, age 4, of Spring Garden Township, York, was welcomed into Heaven by his twin, Addison, at 2:54 AM Thursday, July 11, 2024, at his residence.

Born August 22, 2019, in York, he was a son of Luke T. and Rosemary “Marcie” (Tom) Beam.

In addition to his parents, Wesley is survived by a brother, Preston T. Beam; maternal grandparents, Terry and AnneMarie (Bongiorno) Tom, of Monessen, and paternal grandparents, Byron and Yvette (Dawson) Beam, of Sykesville, Maryland.

Wesley attended St. Paul’s Preschool and York Country Day School. He was loved by his classmates and teachers. Wesley was a loyal friend and cared deeply about those he loved.

During his medical treatment at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, he frequently referred to his team as his “friends”. In the midst of cancer and treatment, Wesley continued to bring joy and laughter to those he encountered.

He had some great dance moves and enjoyed making others laugh. He has the most memorable belly laugh. He was inquisitive conversationalist, often heard asking, “What’s your favorite…?”

His smile was contagious and lit up every space he was in.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion, with Pastor Jeremy Shank officiating.  A reception with the family will immediately follow.  Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
