Whitman S. "Whit" Joslin Obituary

Whitman S. “Whit” Joslin, age 89, of York Township, York, died at 10:45 PM Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. (Keehn) Joslin for 42 years.


Born October 14, 1936, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of the late Van W. and Dorothy (Sayles) Joslin, he attended Peoria High School and then transferred to William Penn High School, graduating in the class of 1954. After graduation he worked at Caterpillar Tractor Company for two years, and then Dentsply International Inc. for 42 years becoming a member of the Dentsply 25 Year Club. He served in the US Army Signal Corps. and was a charter member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York. He also volunteered at York Little Theatre.


Mr. Joslin is survived by a daughter, Lynn A. Joslin, of Takoma Park, Maryland; and a sister, Sherry E. Joslin, of McLean, Virginia.


Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements. Entombment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
