Goldsboro - Wilbert H. Weirich, age 96, of Goldsboro, died at 9:50 PM Sunday, September 5, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Norma I. (Schlosser) Weirich.

Born March 29, 1925 in York County, a son of the late Christian and Ida (Snelbaker) Weirich, he was retired from International Paper Company. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, participating in the invasion of Normandie, and was a member of Etters VFW Post #537.

Mr. Weirich is survived by a son, Gregory L. Weirich, and his wife Cathy, of Manchester; and a sister, Stella Rode. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, LeRoy, Chester, and Jay Weirich; and five sisters, Florence Shearer, Velma Firestone, Nora Taylor, Grace Beard, and Gloria Steely.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, September 10, 2021 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester. Viewing will be 9-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown.
