William B. Blauser Obituary

William B. Blauser, age 85, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 12:02 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at UPMC Memorial. He was the husband of Janet M. (Rogers) Blauser.

Born May 11, 1940, in York, a son of the late Harold and Mildred (Siar) Blauser, he retired from Frigidaire and had previously worked for Cole Steel for 29 years. He was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church, was a Mill Roader, and an Honorary Swamper. He played softball for Westminister Presbyterian Church and was a football coach for Tri-Town Midget Football.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Blauser is survived by a son, Timothy A. Blauser and his wife, Ritie, of Dover; a daughter, Robin E. Blauser, of Wallingford; six grandchildren, Seth T. Blake, and his wife, Kayla, David A. Kelly, and his wife, Lexi, Karsyn R. Blauser, Naomi E. Frazier, Allyson M. Moyer, and her husband, Matt, and Jarrod L. Slagle; four great grandchildren, Annaleigh, Sawyer, Morgan, and Emerson; and a brother, Rodney Blauser, of York. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Barry Blauser; a sister, Connie Blauser Eshleman; grandmother, Naomi Siar; aunt and uncle Marie and Benny Siar; and great aunt, Florence Blauser.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Pastor Douglas Hileman officiating. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 AM.
