William E. Denues
Obituary
William E. “Bill” Denues, 85, of Hellam Township, York, passed away Saturday, April 15, at WellSpan York Hospital. Born in York on July 24, 1937, he was the son of Ross E. and Irene C. (Yingling) Denues.
He was a 1956 graduate of Central York High School, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and retired printer RR Donnelly in Lancaster.
Bill is survived by a loving family, including his wife of 61 years, Sandra L. (Hirt) Denues, and his daughters, Deborah Wolfgang and her husband Thomas of Wellsville, and Brenda Gotwalt, and her husband Thomas of York. He is also survived by five grandchildren, William Wolfgang, Andrew Wolfgang, Josh Gotwalt, Jessica Gotwalt, Michael Wolfgang, in addition to a great-grandchild on the way, and two grand-dogs, Maggie and Charlie. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Cummings.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2023, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York. Viewing will be 1-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Livestream of services will be available at www.facebook.com/KuhnerAssociates
