William L. Smith, Jr., age 75, of Newberry Township, Manchester, died at 5:05 AM Thursday, January 30, 2025, at York North Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was the husband of the late Sandra L. (Mallery) Smith, who preceded him in death four days prior.

Born April 23, 1949, in York, a son of the late William L. and Armatha (Kennedy) Smith, he was retired from several manufacturing companies.

Mr. Smith is survived by three daughters, Kimberly S. Clancy, of Red Lion, Christine S. Smith, of Manchester, and Melissa M. Smith (Ruth), of Mount Wolf; a son, Jeffrey S. Howell (Judy), of York; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley, Amber, and Clayton; and eleven great grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, Scarlett, Brantley, Jaxon, Landon, Jason, Briella, Wyatt, Braylenn, and Blake; and three brothers, Michael, Jeffrey, and Rick Smith. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Powers; a son, Michael Howell; a brother, Barry Smith; and three sisters, Bonnie, Lou Ann and Deb Smith.

A combined graveside service for both Mr. and Mrs. Smith is scheduled for 2:30 PM Monday, February 3, 2025, at Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating. Viewing will be from 1:00-2:00 PM at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester.
