William P. Zombro, age 84, of York, died at 7:06 AM Monday, March 31, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Patricia E. (Pierre) Zombro.

Born July 12, 1940, in Lebanon, he was one of five children of the late Arthur and Grace (Macemore) Zombro.  He was an alumni of the Milton Hershey School and retired from Sylvania after 20 years of employment.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, Mr. Zombro is survived by two daughters, Nancy C. Wiley, and her wife Jennifer, of South New Berlin, New York, and Susan M. Springer, and her husband Robert, of Thomasville; five grandchildren, Robert Springer, Natasha Springer, Emma Zombro, Vivian Rainey, and Naomi Wiley; a great granddaughter, Remington Yeager; and a sister, Grace Bord, of Lebanon. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra E. Zombro-Rainey.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements.
