Yvonne M. “Bonnie” Schrum, age 87, of York, died at 7:34 AM Thursday, June 27, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Ronald D. Schrum, Sr.

Born July 31, 1936, in York, a daughter of the late Charles F. and Dorothy M (Woltman) Botterbusch, she retired from Danskin after 25 years of employment and was an avid Steelers and Penn State fan.

Mrs. Schrum is survived by four children, Rose Landis, and her husband Scott, of Smithsburg, Maryland, Ronald Schrum, Jr., Rosalind Schrum, and Roger Schrum, all of York; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Eunice Mentzer; and a brother, Michael Botterbusch. She was also preceded in death by two children, Annette Dehoff, and Roy Scott Schrum.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Pastor Kevin Becker officiating. Viewing will be from 12:30-1:30 PM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
